This is the Constitution, my cousin John Brown, wrote, in trying to hold America to her word about her ideals & her vision of liberty for all.
John Brown was radically opposed to slavery. John was eventually hung by the US, yet his martyrdom for the abolitionists cause helped sparked the civil war and bring an end to slavery in America. Like Thoreau said “John Brown will make the gallows as glorious as the Cross”. Though John & his mission are often omitted from history class. I wonder why….
So America, Land of the Free? How free are we if, a woman’s body is more regulated than weapons of war? How free are we if, you aren’t free to be who you are? How free are we if, it’s illegal to read a book about American History? How free are we if, in one state you’re a medical patient & across a state border you’re a criminal? How free are we if, you have to sell your labor to obtain unaffordable healthcare? How free are we if, the economy’s stock market rises when the workers are put out of work? Who is actually free in this country? The oligarchs.
Don’t confuse criticism with hatred. That’s a cowards way out. The original constitution was criticized & amended, giving us the Amendments. Those who are willing to speak up to critique injustices are exercising their American privilege. And are often criticized by complacent cowards who find comfort in the system because that’s all they’ve known. Or they know exploitation is how they hold power, and fear change.
My cousin, John Brown, wrote a provisional Constitution. During a time in American history, when even some of the ‘Abolitionist’s’ weren’t for actual integration but separation. The Captain died for this cause, fighting for liberty for every man woman & child.

We are living in a volatile time. But again, fate calls some of us to see a vision for a better tomorrow. Whether God whispers it in your ear or, your heart takes action because you refuse to be content with the injustices happening all around you.
One place we can all start is - Organizing. Organizing is one of the most powerful weapons against the tyranny of the wealthy elites. Our politics are enslaved to the wants of their mega donors & lobbyists, ignoring the desperate needs of the people. We exist in a racist system, that’s the American way. And a key factor in dismantling the system is power of the people.
We can take the power back. Organize. Get actively involved in your community by listening to the people around you. And start sharing what is affecting you. No one knows, unless we speak up. And that is the start to organizing. We can organize our communities together to call for the changes we need.
America is a pay to play state, but money can’t buy everything… it can’t buy the people. And the people have the power. Just look at the solidarity in France 🇫🇷 right now - the entire country has rallied around those near retirement to protest against the tyrannical government raising the retirement age.
Organize.
Solidarity.
We the people need to fight for a 4 day work week - what’s the point of technology if it only makes life easier for 10% of the population. Extra wages for Weekend Workers - fair market rates for those who work overnights and weekends. Universal Healthcare- Medical Care for All - people should not have to find a job to have healthcare - we as a country should prioritize the health of everyone. And for those who choose private healthcare - 100% paid employer healthcare. Minimum wage - $27 (as of 2023) - or/& tie min wage rates to the percentage the CEO has raised their wages over the past 50 years. And Affordable Higher Education for those who want to pursue advancing their education.Do we want to encourage our citizens to be the most educated in the world? Or do we want to keep a barrier, a paywall on higher education? So only the wealthy can afford it? Or continue to force people who want to pursue education into massive debt?
Eliminate stock buybacks.
Eliminate money in politics.
And if a company with over 100 employees has over 10% of their workers on food stamps, we garnish management & owner wages to subsidize the workers.
We the people can END CORPORATE WELFARE. They have enough money & are poisoning our society with their greed.
We need to be concerned with the peoples welfare. How are you managing to get by? Because CEOs aren’t worrying about costs to heat their homes, they aren’t worried about their mortgage payments, but they worry about the people organizing their power.
The way it’s been doesn’t have to be the way it is.
