Daily Revolution

YouTube has a ton of content. Almost anything you are looking for can be found there. One content creator is Dr. Todd Grande, who provides insights to different topics & issues. He recently discussed the Joe Rogan topic. I covered this previously on my blog and said Joe Rogan acts as an innocent “presenter of information” but really invites guests who will promote Joes established biases. I’ve witness this happen in radio. Some Hosts who are too afraid to say their thoughts & be held accountable for their stance on an issue will bring on guests that have aligned beliefs and are openly promoting them. Then the show will give that guest ample time to promote whatever the belief is & even “act” like they are discovering this belief for themselves. The show will ask questions that they probably already know the answer to & most likely agree with the answer. The show will even pretend that this interview is opening their mind and changing their position on a topic - when all along it’s an act. The show is just too afraid & potentially not smart enough (their show may not be considered a source for whatever the belief/topic may be) so this outside source (promoting the shows established bias) lends their credibility. They are all in on it, except the audience.
It’s funny & ironic, Joe Rogan the comic who titled his Stand Up Special - Triggered, now pretends his words don’t have influence.
Also - This has nothing to do with Free Speech. I’ve yet to hear about the Government making a law to stop Joe Or Spotify from saying what they want on their platform / podcast. If you’d like to learn about Free Speech issues, I recommend reading about Abbie Hoffman, Fred Hampton, and MLK & their run ins with the Government.
And for those who are against “Censorship” - what are your thoughts on Spotify pulling a bunch of Rogan’s episodes off their platform?
I heard a lot of people complain about FEARS of censorship when Neil Young took a stand. I heard lots of folks talking that they did not want Joe censored…. But Spotify did censor Joe Rogan - they removed episodes of his podcast off their platform. So are you people of your word, will you boycott Spotify because they believe in Censorship?
Here is Dr Todd Grande’s thoughts on the Joe Rogan topic.

One of the raddest parts of YouTube is the creators decide what photos to use in their content. Usually on TV, the producers will choose standard pics of celebs during the report. But on YouTube, creators use whatever they want. Which leads to great thumbnails like the one above with that picture of Joe.
The creative freedom on YouTube is rad.
